First, while we can't make any promises, we hope that none of our posts over the coming months will be longer than this one. Fingers crossed, our pictures will speak for themselves...assuming we figure out how to use our brand new, fancy camera. Otherwise, get ready for a mix of blurry landscapes and iPhone selfies. Or worse...

Second, welcome!

We honestly have no idea what will transpire here as we attempt to document our upcoming adventure. Sitting in Boston ready to depart for the first stop on our trip (all the way to...Philly!), we have a few ideas, but if they fall flat, we'll adapt as we go. So let us know!

The map at the top of the page will lay out our path around the world. If you zoom in and click on a specific city, it will (well, should) take you to the post for that city. And maybe one day Alexis will manage to coax Mike into the scary world of social media and we'll get Instagram up and running as well.
